Moringa Oleifera

Moringa oleifera is a fast growing, aesthetically pleasing small tree adapted to arid, sandy conditions. The species is characterized by its long, drumstick shaped pods that contain its seeds. Within the first year of growth, moringa has been shown to grow up to 4 meters and can bear fruit within the same first year (Folkard and Sutherland, 1996).

Virtually every part of the tree is beneficial in some way, which is of great importance in areas where people have a direct dependence on trees, crops and animals for their livelihood. The studies that have been performed on moringa have taken place primarily in India and Africa, but it seems that there may be a growing interest in the cultivation possibilities in the more humid tropics, including Central and South America.

Depending on the purpose and quantity desired, moringa can be grown in a nursery as a community project or on a smaller scale at the family level. It can function as windbreaks for erosion control, live fences, as an ornamental or intercropped to provide semi-shade to species requiring less direct sunlight (ICRAF).

  3. I was asked about Leukemia and if Moriga Olifera is helpful or a concern.

    Let me say that I will defer to the science that is out there. But my thoughts are;
    Moringa Olifera and its use as system support rather than a “cure” appears most reasonable to me.

    Understand that we doctors cannot “cure” cancer, as the cancer cells are themselves “normal tissue that grow abnormally.
    So,
    helping to support normal cell growth appears sensible regardless of the current attempts of eradication methods.

    As with any cancer, moving the body toward a healthier and mor alkaline lifestyle is always desirable.

    However, “lifestyle changers, you and me” have good intent to do “teh right things” but, there applications or attempts, ie- (difficult to follow advice or it (the advice) is wholly inaccurate), this, from what I see is most often the cause of failed attempts at improving there overall health.

    Ask questions, research and the choices you make will “sit better” in you and you will work better with your doctor.

    Thank you for your question.

    The big advantage of plant and food based support such as Moringa Olifera is there appears to be no “forced” cellular response. What I mean to say is that the body, in most cases will move toward homeostasis, voluntarily.
    Foods and most plants rarely ever provide this action as a direct consequence rather more of an ancillary mechanism toward normalcy.

    I hope this helps. drg

    According to research conducted, the vegetables today are less nutritious today than 40 years ago.So this means that nutrition listed in the book is less now due to soil depletion, pollution, use of fertilizer, at less nutritious especially those planted on roadsides where soil is not so fertile. the malunggay being used in this product is planted in the bondoc peninsula where and the variety is different from what we have here in our locality..of course eating malungay and other vegetables as gulay is always the best, pero kailangan pa rin natin ng food supplement like this moringa capsule.
